''Break a Leg'' Acting Group Successfully Launched
16/07/2014
Theatre Circle has branched into a new group called Break a Leg. In this new group I teach workshops in Acting, Viewpoints and Flash Mob. Break a Leg is a a joyful acting ensemble consisting of local and non-local City University of Hong Kong students who create innovative and exciting theatre works. It encourages international collaboration in a welcoming environment where students can experiment without a risk of being made fun of. It also engages a community by inviting them to join as audience or participants. The club operates within the City University of Hong Kong and it is financially supported by The University Grants Committee (UGC). Break a Leg was named as the best project proposed by the City University of Hong Kong in 2014. For more information about this group and its activities, please visit www.breakaleghk.com |
Hong Kong Acting Workshop

01/11/2013
City University of Hong Kong did not offer any theatre clubs, acting clubs or anything of the sort, so I have decided to change that. In cooperation with CUPA (City University PhD Association) I have organized a theatre group called Theatre Circle. The group organizes theatre workshop, classes and invites CityU students to explore their acting capacities. Our first meeting is tomorrow.

Fitness and Acting??

Acting workshop at Mostar Youth Theatre has just been upgraded. New fitness segment has been added and it consists of two fantastic fitness Instructors - Adis and Haris Jakic. Adis is a 3x l[ojChampion and his brother Haris is a model who participated in numerous beauty competitions and who also works as a county judge. They are both personal fitness instructors and are the best in the region when it comes to wellness, fitness and healthy lifestyle.
Prior to each acting session they lead series of warm-ups, stretches and exercises that build flexibility and strength preparing participants for acting sessions.

It's basically the same workshop as the one described in the article bellow but only BETTER! I am now more experienced, pumped up and ready to teach a new acting class. Judging from comments from my former students it will be amazing if it's half as good as last one..But enough of bragging, I seriously think it will be fun and useful for all the folks with passion for acting. Check out a gallery bellow from the last workshop.
I am also teaching a documentary theatre workshop, but that one is already full and we are not admitting any additional people. But you can try if really eager.
Workshops begin on Monday and you can reserve your spot by calling +387(0)36 551 124 or emailing mteatarm@bih.net.ba. For more info, please visit Mostar Youth Theatre site.
